Refund & Dispute Policy
We are committed to resolving issues fairly, transparently, and promptly.
This policy explains how MyCardSell handles refunds and disputes, including when refunds may be considered, how to contact support, and what to expect during the review process.
Fair review process
Seller authorization first
Electronic refunds only
No automatic refunds
Clear communication
Fraud protection
1. Our Commitment
At MyCardSell, customer trust is a priority. If an issue arises during a transaction, we will review it fairly and work toward an appropriate resolution based on the facts of the transaction.
2. Before Redemption
Every submitted gift card goes through verification. After successful verification, the seller receives an authorization request by email. No verified gift card is redeemed unless the seller provides explicit authorization.
If authorization is not received, the gift card will not be redeemed.
3. Refund Eligibility
A refund request may be considered if:
- An internal processing error prevents completion of an approved transaction.
- A verified transaction cannot be completed due to a technical issue on MyCardSell's side.
- Another circumstance exists where MyCardSell determines a refund is appropriate after review.
Each request is evaluated individually.
4. Refund Method
Refunds, when approved, will be provided using the original transaction method or an equivalent method determined by MyCardSell. Cash refunds are not available.
If the original transaction involved a gift card exchange, any approved refund will generally be provided in an equivalent form rather than as cash.
5. Situations Where Refunds May Not Apply
Refunds may not be available when:
- The seller provided incorrect or incomplete gift card information.
- The gift card was invalid, already redeemed, expired (where applicable), or unsupported.
- The seller did not respond to the authorization request.
- Fraud, unauthorized activity, or policy violations are identified.
- The transaction could not proceed due to circumstances outside MyCardSell's reasonable control.
6. Dispute Resolution
If a seller believes a transaction was handled incorrectly, they should contact MyCardSell as soon as possible. Please include:
- Name
- Registered email address
- Transaction reference (if available)
- Description of the issue
- Any supporting information
MyCardSell will review the information and respond as promptly as reasonably possible.
7. Review Process
Disputes may include:
- Verification of submitted information
- Review of transaction history
- Review of authorization records
- Review of communication logs
- Security and fraud review
Additional information may be requested when necessary.
8. Fraud Prevention
Fraud prevention measures help protect both sellers and MyCardSell. Fraudulent or suspicious refund requests may be denied.
9. Limitation
Submitting a dispute does not automatically guarantee a refund. Each case is reviewed individually based on available records and applicable policies.
